- Gummingurru Cultural Planting: Preparing for an incredibly exciting upcoming partnership planting with the Wakka Wakka custodians.

We aren’t just dreaming big; we are playing it smart. We have an exciting internal wishlist of local parks and bushland spaces that are crying out for more shade, beautiful trees, and native birdlife. We are currently working hand-in-hand with the Toowoomba Regional Council to finalize and approve these locations.

To secure major Council Community Grants later this year to fund these large-scale planting festivals, we must contribute 25% of the project funds ourselves. By hitting our $4,000 fundraising goal, our matched donor brings us to $8,000. This $8,000 becomes our official 25% co-contribution. This means your donation today acts as the “golden ticket” to unlock the remaining 75% from Council—multiplying your original gift into a massive, fully funded greening fund!
The Long-Term Vision: Gowrie Creek
We also hold a beautiful, multi-generational vision for the complete natural restoration of Gowrie Creek. While we continue formal discussions with Council to secure long-term planting permissions along the waterway, our amazing volunteer teams are already active on the ground—holding regular community clean-up and rubbish removal days to care for the creek right now. Your support keeps these vital clean-up events fully equipped and running.
