Lately, the DDEC team has been bringing that green magic to life. Thanks to locals like you, we’ve already helped host a fantastic street tree planting day and created a dedicated koala corridor!

Our next big vision? Transforming Gowrie Creek into a vibrant natural haven. The energy is already building—at our last clean-up, 25+ next-gen locals showed up and hauled out over 1,100 kg of rubbish!

Now, we’re ready to partner with the Toowoomba Regional Council for more tree-planting events across our region’s parks and bushlands. But we have one strategic hurdle to cross first.

To unlock our chances for a major Council Community Grant later this year, we need to contribute 25% of the project funds ourselves.
